At Basalite, we take a great deal of pride in being able to give back to our community. Recently we partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Sacramento, California, and donated a beautiful outdoor space to “The Wishing Place”.
ABOUT THE WISHING PLACE
Make-A-Wish® Northeastern California and Northern Nevada’s Wishing Place has made history and is only one of five Wishing Places in the world!! It is a building designed especially to encourage children going through medical hardships. The magic begins the moment a child enters the front door. A “Galaxy of Stars” shines above with colored stars each commemorating a special wish child. The child then proceeds to “The Wishing Room” where wish decisions are made. Once that one true wish has been selected, a magical key opens the door to “The Wishing Tower” where the dream begins.
